My love of photography grew from my passion for anything automotive. I grew up in a family of gearheads. I can remember reading car magazines with articles about how to take better photos of cars and practicing those techniques with a point and shoot camera. Those were the early years.
My involvement in the automotive industry took me all over; as an enthusiast, a mechanic, and a drag racer I was able to see so many exciting or unique sights. Along the way I met a photographer to start taking better photos. I had never seen anyone hang a camera out the window to take photos. I learned composition from his drag racing photos. My drive to take better photos grew exponentially while my husband and I were on our honeymoon. Shortly after, I bought my first “serious” camera and jumped in headfirst.
I love sharing the moment, and the story. My style is bold and vibrant, sometimes larger than life. I enjoy taking on the challenge of a new type of photography when I can. While I lean heavily on automotive photography, I have shot wildlife, landscapes, portraits, and night sky photos.
