Modern Street Hemi Shootout

It's about friendships and a shared passion.
The MSHS started in 2010 with its first event at Bradenton Motorsports Park, as a drag racing series focused directly on vehicles powered by the modern gen 3 HEMI engine. The origin of the series lies deeply in many of the popular internet forums, LXforums.com, CherokeeSRT8.com, and ModernMoparForum.com.
10 years later, the series is full of family, both adopted and literal. I have had the privilege of knowing many of the founding contributors for 15 years. In that time I progressed from racer to photographer to help document the excitement of race day. Based on its origins on internet forums, the MSHS’ catch phrase is meant to cut the bench racing #ShutupAndLineup.
